Action items/ pro-life legislation

There are several pieces of legislation that require our attention.  You can read about them below.1.)  In the Missouri Senate, please ask your State Senator to support SB 65.

2.)  The Pence Amendment to De-fund Planned Parenthood passed the U.S. House and moves to the U.S. Senate.  Ask your U.S. Senators to support the Pence Amendment, No. 11 to the Full-Year Continuing Appropriations Act, 2011 (H.R. 1) to prevent government funding for the nation’s largest abortion provider, Planned Parenthood.  It would also be a good idea to contact John Boehner, House Speaker, incase the Senate version of the bill does not contain similar language — making it so a conference committee of House and Senate leaders will have to negotiate a final version. Here are links to two articles about the Pence Amendment:http://www.thestarpress.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=2011102240331http://www.lifenews.com/2011/02/25/pro-lifers-to-boehner-fight-for-planned-parenthood-de-funding/update.html
