Anyone who wants to go to the Pro-Life Action Day on Tuesday, April 5 and has not yet signed up at a meeting, needs to have their name e-mailed or called to Bill Gegg no later than this coming Monday, Feb. 28 by noon.  If you would like to go but you are not sure, it is better to sign up and cancel than to not sign up at all…the bus will fill very quickly and we have first choice this year since we called early…there is no fee…ECAMRL will pick up the cost… Bill won’t be able to reserve any spots after this coming Monday.”  We will take a Mid-American Bus from Union Baptist Church Parking Lot (next to Walgreens).  We will carpool there from the 14th Street Parking Lot.  Bill will let you know exact times later, but plan on approximately 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Just hours after the New Jersey undercover footage was released, the Susan B. Anthony List (SBA List) garnered statements from both national and state pro-life leaders calling on Congress to defund Planned Parenthood of the hundreds of millions of dollars it receives in government grants and contracts.  The coalition effort features a website, www.ExposePlannedParenthood.com.  The twenty groups teamed up to pressure Congress to strip Planned Parenthood of all taxpayer funding.
The website includes – among other things – detailed information about Rep. Mike Pence’s Title X Abortion Provider Prohibition Act which would ensure Planned Parenthood cannot receive tax dollars under Title X funding and an Action Center where Americans can call on their Representatives in Congress to defund Planned Parenthood of the millions of taxpayer dollars it receives every single year.
Now is the time to capitalize on this incredible blow to Planned Parenthood’s public image and defund it of the tax dollars it receives.  Join the fight to end taxpayer funding of the largest abortion provider in the country.  Take action.  Call your Members of Congress.  Write a letter to the Editor.  Get involved.  Pray.

Heroic former KS Attorney General Phill Kline is currently undergoing a witch trial and literally fighting for law license in the state of Kansas. Kline remains the only state prosecutor to bring charges against Planned Parenthood–it’s not surprising he is in the crosshairs still years after the fact.

On Tuesday, Kline revealed in his sworn testimony that his investigation of the KS abortion industry found 166 cases of abortions performed on girls age 14 and younger by Planned Parenthood in Overland Park and George Tiller in Wichita. Each abortionist reported only one case to the authorities, leaving 164 unreported cases of statutory rape between the two abortion clinics.

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. – A proposed law to limit the use of late-term abortions in Missouri by recasting the definition of a viable unborn child met with both praise and criticism Tuesday at a Senate hearing.
Supporters of the bill, which makes it a felony to abort a medically viable fetus 20 weeks or more into a pregnancy, call it a common-sense solution to moral issues raised by late-term abortions. But critics say it creates an arbitrary, unscientific cut-off point that further erodes abortion rights.
“We believe that when (fetuses) become viable, that they are, as all human life, valuable and need to be protected,” said Senate President Pro Tem Rob Mayer, R-Dexter, who sponsored the legislation.
Under Mayer’s bill, the definition of viability is broadened to mean a reasonable likelihood that the life of an unborn child can be sustained independently of a mother, with or without artificial support. Any woman who is more than 20 weeks pregnant requesting an abortion would be required to undergo a test to determine viability under this standard. If a doctor determines the fetus is viable, they would not be allowed to perform an abortion under penalty of a year in prison, up to $50,000 in fines and suspension of their medical license for three years.

MIAMI - A second federal judge has ruled that President Barack Obama’s health care reform law, which subsidizes abortions, is unconstitutional.
U.S. District Judge Roger Vinson, a Reagan appointee, ruled that the law violates the Constitution by requiring Americans to purchase health insurance or face a penalty, a provision that is set to begin in 2014.
