President Trump has nominated Judge Neil Gorsuch to the U.S. Supreme Court, to fill the seat vacated a year ago by the death of Justice Antonin Scalia.  But senior Senate Democrats are threatening to use a filibuster to obstruct Judge Gorsuch's confirmation. It is vitally important that you communicate immediately with your U.S. senators -- especially, key Democratic senators who may be undecided -- to urge the prompt confirmation of Judge Gorsuch.

Please act now! The Senate Judiciary Committee will soon conclude its work on the nomination, with a fight on the Senate floor expected the week of April 3. Advocacy groups opposed to Judge Gorsuch, including NARAL and other radical pro-abortion groups, are stepping up their vehement attacks on the nominee.

Republicans in the House of Representatives have pulled the bill to defund Planned Parenthood after conservative Republicans said the legislation did not go far enough in repealing ObamaCare.
President Donald Trump and Speaker Paul Ryan worked overtime to try to convince all Republicans to support the bill and made last-minute changes to it on Thursday night — but those changes were apparently not enough to encourage some more liberal and some more conservative Republicans to support the measure.

Another U.S. House committee has approved the bill legislation that will defund the Planned Parenthood abortion business.
The House Budget Committee on Thursday narrowly approved the legislation even with some Republicans voting against it.
The committee voted 19-17 to advance the defunding legislation to the House Rules Committee. All of the Democrats voted no on the bill as did three Republicans — Reps. Dave Brat of Virginia, Mark Sanford of South Carolina, and Gary Palmer of Alabama. They want more provisions added to fully repeal Obamacare.

Republicans in Congress have released the American Health Care Act. Their plan to repeal Obamacare includes provisions that would revoke funding for Planned Parenthood. Under the legislation there is a provision in the bill that prohibits states from using “direct spending” on “prohibited entities” with federal funds allocated from the legislation and those entities include any entity that “provides for abortions.” That means the nation’s biggest abortion corporation — Planned Parenthood.
