This past Friday, a group of over fifteen dedicated volunteers with the East Central Area Missouri Right to Life made the long drive from Washington, MO to pray on the sidewalk in front of the St. Louis Planned Parenthood.
(pictured below) Nearly every campaign, we see faithful prayer volunteers such as these come from far and wide to participate in the 40 Days for Life Vigil. Their dedication is truly an encouraging reminder that the pro-life movement is vivid and alive throughout this state- and that its strength is culminated in the UNITY found between those who come from all walks of life to love, support and pray for women in crisis and their pre-born children. While we are well over halfway to the end of another amazing campaign, there is still time to come to the sidewalk- wherever you're from or wherever you're at in your journey, know your presence is welcome and needed! Call or email your U.S. senators: Urge them to confirm Judge Gorsuch and to defund Planned Parenthood.

President Trump has nominated Judge Neil Gorsuch to the U.S. Supreme Court, to fill the seat vacated a year ago by the death of Justice Antonin Scalia. But senior Senate Democrats are threatening to use a filibuster to obstruct Judge Gorsuch's confirmation. It is vitally important that you communicate immediately with your U.S. senators -- especially, key Democratic senators who may be undecided -- to urge the prompt confirmation of Judge Gorsuch. Please act now! The Senate Judiciary Committee will soon conclude its work on the nomination, with a fight on the Senate floor expected the week of April 3. Advocacy groups opposed to Judge Gorsuch, including NARAL and other radical pro-abortion groups, are stepping up their vehement attacks on the nominee. Republicans in the House of Representatives have pulled the bill to defund Planned Parenthood after conservative Republicans said the legislation did not go far enough in repealing ObamaCare.
President Donald Trump and Speaker Paul Ryan worked overtime to try to convince all Republicans to support the bill and made last-minute changes to it on Thursday night — but those changes were apparently not enough to encourage some more liberal and some more conservative Republicans to support the measure. In their latest edition of The Developing Human: Clinically Oriented Embryology, professors Keith Moore, TVN Persaud, and Mark Torchia shed significant light on the development of the human person – and they don’t shy away from the reality of when life begins. Here are six revealing quotes on fetal development: “Human development is a continuous process that begins when an oocyte from a female is fertilized by a sperm from a male.” (continue reading) Another U.S. House committee has approved the bill legislation that will defund the Planned Parenthood abortion business.
The House Budget Committee on Thursday narrowly approved the legislation even with some Republicans voting against it. Under the legislation there is a provision in the bill that prohibits states from using “direct spending” on “prohibited entities” with federal funds allocated from the legislation and those entities include any entity that “provides for abortions.” That means the nation’s biggest abortion corporation — Planned Parenthood. When Senators vote on his nomination one leading pro-life organization wants them to vote yes.
“Judge Neil Gorsuch’s judicial opinions and legal writings are marked by scholarship, clear writing, and a scrupulous weighing of the legal precedent and factual evidence,” said Americans United for Life president Clarke Forsythe, “He is committed to interpreting the Constitution as written and not legislating from the bench, a dangerous practice that leads to tragic decisions like Roe v. Wade.” Americans United for Life’s legal team delivered a letter to members of the U.S. Senate this week from Forsythe in support of the nomination Judge Neil Gorsuch to the U.S. Supreme Court.... ..President Donald Trump nominated the federal appeals Court Judge with strong support from pro-life organizations that point to his track record as supporting religious freedom for pro-life organizations refusing to be forced to pay for abortions.
