PRO-LIFE ARGUMENTS TO PROHIBIT ABORTION FUNDING HEARD IN MISSOURI SUPREME COURT,
U.S. SUPREME COURT UPHOLDS REQUIRED ULTRASOUNDS BEFORE AN ABORTION
The following statement is from Steve Rupp, President of Missouri Right to Life:
Dec. 10th, the Missouri Supreme Court heard a challenge to the Missouri Legislature’s denial of state funds going to Planned Parenthood. Solicitor General John Sauer of the Attorney General’s office presented the case in defense of the State of Missouri’s right to defund Planned Parenthood. Planned Parenthood continues to seek any way possible to access our tax dollars to fund their abortion business and pro-life leaders are working to prevent funding abortion with public monies.
While the Missouri Supreme Court is in the process of deciding whether legislators have the right to prevent our tax dollars from going to the abortion industry, the U.S. Supreme Court decided on another pro-life bill.
Yesterday, the U.S. Supreme Court decided to let stand a lower court’s decision on Kentucky’s “Display and Describe” law that requires an abortionist to show a mother the ultrasound and describe her unborn child to her prior to the abortion. This court decision sets the standard allowing other states to pass similar legislation.

This Christmas season, countless people will be purchasing items for their loved ones. With so much money being spent, it is important to know what the companies you purchase from do with your money.
That’s why the pro-life group Life Decisions International has compiled another updated list of companies that donate to the Planned Parenthood abortion business. The group has been successful in getting pro-life Americans to boycott companies that back the nation’s leading abortion company and getting corporations to end the relationship.
“As a direct result of the commitment, action and prayers of pro-family people, at least 366 corporations have stopped funding Planned Parenthood,” said LDI Board Chairman Thomas C. Strobhar
He told LifeNews.com that LDI estimates the boycott has cost Planned Parenthood more than $21.5 million since it began releasing lists of companies to boycott.
“This should serve as a testament to those who think it impossible to change corporate behavior,” he said.
