Unfortunately, the legislation was voted down in the Senate. With a vote of 58-42, the Senate agreed to allow the federal funding to proceed - despite the fact that roughly two out of three Americans disapprove of taxpayer funding for abortion.
It’s a vote that many U.S. Senators will have to answer for. A vote to allow more than $350 million in taxpayer funds to flow to Planned Parenthood - the largest abortion provider in the world.
