MRL President's Response to Election Victories

The following statement can be attributed to Steve Rupp, President of Missouri Right to Life:
...Pro-Life Missourians turned out in record-breaking numbers on Tuesday, November 8th, to elect Donald Trump, President and Mike Pence, Vice-President.  They are both committed to nominating conservative U.S. Supreme Court justices that uphold the constitution and they are committed to protecting innocent human life through federal legislation and policies. Pro-lifers also re-elected Roy Blunt for U.S. Senate and a statewide slate of pro-life candidates from Governor straight down the ticket. Pro-life voters rejected the extreme abortion agenda of Clinton, Kander and Koster.  Thank you pro-life Missourians!
Pro-life people have waged a battle against Roe vs. Wade, since January 1973, when it was legislated by the U.S. Supreme Court. Throughout these election results, Missourians have stated that it is time to change course and move our nation forward with the truth and protection of the baby in the womb.
We are excited about working with our new President-elect Donald Trump and Vice President – elect Mike Pence and with the new slate of statewide office holders.  With Greitens, Parson, Ashcroft and Hawley leading Missouri policies for our state, and continued pro-life support of the super majorities in the House and Senate, we look forward to passage of great pro-life legislation in the months and years to come.  Pro-lifers have put in place a national and state team to protect babies and their mothers…
