Carrie took her lunch break this last Wednesday to spend one hour out on the sidewalk to counsel and pray for the unborn children and to help those mothers see the beauty in their motherhood. She arrived late after fighting off co-workers who had pressing questions, but came ready to get started.
Carrie grabbed the brochures and coupons and went right to work. One car after another stopped to talk with Carrie. Her gentle demeanor showed those driving into the abortion facility that she didn’t care where they had been, but she cared where they are going. Then there was one girl name Michele. As Michelle walked down the sidewalk towards Planned Parenthood she stopped to speak with Carrie. Carrie told her about the many free services she could offer and Michelle decided to walk with Carrie over to the ThriVe Mobile Medical Unit not far away. Michele told her that she was ready to get up in her face and ask her to pay for the $120,000 price tag of having a baby. Michelle was determined to go get an abortion. But Michelle didn’t respond in anger. She was greeted with a smile, love and is now open to bringing her child to term. Michelle was one of (4) four women yesterday that were headed towards Planned Parenthood for services, but instead found hope and a helping hand to hold. (link to blog) Comments are closed.
