"Surrender the Secret" is a new online tv program that will air on knocktv on Jan. 22.
The series will follow 5 women as they go through post abortion recovery together. This program was made in the hope of helping other women find peace and healing through faith in Christ. (link to program and more info.) They’re threatened by informed consent. They’re traumatized by the limp body parts they look at every day. They’re torn by the contradiction that they became doctors to preserve life but use their profession to end it. Here are some eye-opening confessions from current and former abortionists.
1. They [the women] are never allowed to look at the ultrasound because we knew that if they so much as heard the heart beat, they wouldn’t want to have an abortion. –Dr. Randall, former abortionist 2. Even now I feel a little peculiar about it, because as a physician I was trained to conserve life, and here I am destroying it. -Dr. Benjamin Kalish, abortionist (read more) The 3801 Lancaster Film Project is an ongoing documentary series about Kermit Gosnell, the Women’s Medical Society, and the cover-up by state and local oversight agencies. As we continue to follow the story, our goals are two-fold: first, to make the public aware of what happened at the Women's Medical Society, second, to give Gosnell's victims an outlet to tell their stories.

Science teaches without reservation that life begins at conception. It is a scientific fact that an organism exists after conception that did not exist before conception. This new organism has its own DNA distinct from the mother and father, meaning that it is neither part of the mother nor part of father. As the embryo grows, it develops a heartbeat (22 days after conception), its own circulatory system, and its own organs. From conception it is a new organism that is alive and will continue to grow and develop as long as nutrition is provided and its life is not ended through violence or illness. Keith L. Moore, is a world-renowned embryologist. Moore puts it plainly in Before We Are Born: Essentials of Embryology (7th edition, Philadelphia, PA: Saunders, 2008, p. 2): "[The zygote], formed by the union of an oocyte and a sperm, is the beginning of a new human being." Here is an example from another scientific work. From Human Embryology & Teratology (Ronan R. O’Rahilly, Fabiola Muller [New York: Wiley-Liss, 1996], 5-55): "Fertilization is an important landmark because, under ordinary circumstances, a new, genetically distinct human organism is thereby formed[.]" (read full article) A total of 43 pro-life laws went into effect in 19 states last year, making 2012 the year with the second highest number of pro-life legislation passed at the state level.
Most of the restrictions passed in 2012 focused on stopping late-term abortions and limiting coverage in health exchanges or chemical abortion. In addition to Arizona, Georgia and Louisiana enacted measures to ban late-term abortions, once the baby can feel pain. Those revelations, among others were contained in a review of the Planned Parenthood Federation of America’s (PPFA) 2011-2012 annual report conducted by National Right to Life Director of Education and Research Randall K. O’Bannon, Ph.D. Dr. O’Bannon is one of the right-to-life movement’s most authoritative experts on the abortion giant.
“By their own numbers, Planned Parenthood continues to show that they are deeply entrenched in the business of abortion,” said Dr. O’Bannon. “In 2011, Planned Parenthood clinics performed 333,964 abortions. Even as current data indicate the total number of abortions in the U.S. has been going down, Planned Parenthood keeps increasing its share of the abortion industry performing well over 25% of the annual estimated total of abortions performed in the United States.” (read more) Writing in the January 14, 2013, issue of TIME Magazine, journalist Kate Pickert documents the hard-fought victories the pro-life movement has experienced in state legislatures over the past two decades.
In “What Choice? Why Abortion-Rights Activists Have Been Losing Ever Since Roe v. Wade,” Pickert observes, “[A]t the state level, abortion-rights activists are unequivocally losing.” As a result, “These laws make it harder every year to exercise a right heralded as a crowning achievement of the 20th century women’s movement.” National Right to Life President Carol Tobias responded: For the average American, the idea of a society where you can kill an unborn child right up until the moment of birth is unacceptable. Polling has confirmed for years that most Americans are uncomfortable with the idea of abortion on demand for any reason and that most Americans support legislation that protects mothers and their unborn children from the abortion industry. That the collective sentiment of the nation has resulted in the passage of pro-life laws is not surprising. For example, a vast majority of Americans (63%) support legislation banning abortion after the point at which the unborn child is capable of feeling pain (by 20 weeks). And most Americans don’t want their tax dollars being used to pay for abortion. The group’s first book, Courageous: Students Abolishing Abortion in this Lifetime, is scheduled for release Monday. The Courageous National Book Release webcast will air the same day at 9 p.m. EST. Hawkins, who wrote the book, features several courageous stories of people who have answered the call to end abortion. They are stories, she says, that will “inspire and encourage others to join the cause of abolishing abortion in this lifetime.” She has helped to more than triple the number of campus pro-life groups in the United States from 181 to nearly 700 in 49 states since 2006. On Friday, she took some time to talk with CitizenLink about the book and her inspiration for sharing these stories. Rep. Marsha Blackburn, a Tennessee Republican, is picking up the Planned parenthood de-funding mantle from former Congressman Mike Pence, who was elected as Indiana’s governor and was the prime sponsor of the bill House Republicans approved and Senate Democrats defeated. Blackburn informed LifeNews today that she has introduced the Title X Abortion Provider Prohibition Act (H.R. 61), which would stop the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) from providing federal family planning assistance under Title X to abortion businesses until they certify they won’t provide and refer for abortions.
